With the impending release of ‘The Live Tapes Vol.1: Live at the Hordern’ the first new live Cold Chisel release in over 10 years, MAX will not only host the premiere of the brand new footage recorded in Sydney last year but have also devoted an entire day to Cold Chisel history.

On Thursday November 21st  be the first to witness the footage of the live concert, recorded in April 2012 at the Hordern Pavilion. Check it out for a solid hour experience ahead of the full-length 21 track CD/DVD release Friday November 22nd.

But that’s just a warm up as on Sunday November 24th, MAX will air 12 hours of non-stopCold Chisel featuring everything from interviews and live specials to documentaries and music videos. Jump back in time with both Rockpalast, the live filming of their electrifying performance in 1982 in Germany and The Last Stand recorded in 1984 at Sydney Entertainment Centre, then revisit the exclusive local production uncovering the blood, sweat and tears that forged the band’s career in MAX The Artist’s Story: Cold Chisel. If you missed it on Thursday they’ll also be showing an encore of the all new ‘The Live Tapes Vol.1’.
